The intended audience of this document is Euro- American and its purpose is to stimulate discussion nationally and internationally on practice standards and scope. This jointly authored discussion document has been under construction since October 2009 and it has been subjected to several revisions because of consultation exercises.

This session shall be discussion-based and interactive. Prior to this session the discussion document will have been made available to participants and during the interactive session a panel of experts will be asked questions about and their opinions upon the contents of the discussion document. Audience participation will be permitted through the use of microphones and also ‘voting’ (using ‘hand held voting systems’).

One ‘overview presentation’, lasting ½ hour, will be given by Professor Waterstram-Rich (SNM Technologist Section). This will provide an insight into the discussion document.
