Educational Facilty

The EANM Educational Facility was founded in 2003 and started off with PET courses for clinicians. Subsequently, Task Groups and Committees began to start courses in their specialities, thereby increasing the variety of courses. The range of languages in which courses are offered has also been expanded, so that the Educational Facility now boasts courses in English, German, Italian and Russian.

General Information

• The powerpoint presentations and case studies are prepared by a renowned faculty.
• At each course, instructors, specialized in the topic, cover the presentations and case studies in “classroom style” in the lecture room.
• Each course includes ample time for participants to view case studies in 4 viewing rooms, equipped with state of the art multipurpose viewing stations.
• All learning courses are accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME). By virtue of a reciprocal agreement between EACCME and the American Medical Association (AMA), the credits granted by EACCME are recognised as the Physician’s Recognition Award by the AMA.
• Learning courses in other languages (currently German, Italian and Russian): the course material and the presentations are only available in English, whereas all lectures, practical sessions and discussions will be held in the foreign language, with native speakers as instructors.
  
• The registration fees include the course programme book, coffee breaks and lunches, as well as one joint dinner for the group.
• The registration fees do not include the costs of travel and hotel accommodation.
