ESMIT/ESO Joint Course
June 12, 2017
Palazzo dei Congressi Lugano
The focus of this course lies on interactivity, including hands-on sessions as well as problem- and case-based discussions.
Up to 8 cases will be used as basis for the discussion with the highly qualified faculty of this course. The attendees will receive direct feedback on their image interpretations and will get to the correct solutions together with the speakers.
The target of the course is not to learn the simple reading of PET images, but to analyze and intrepret cases correctly with the help of images, to use the information gained from these images and to communicate the impact and the outcome accordingly to the clinician.
This course aims to Nuclear Medicine physicians and Haematologists. The programme will cover the needs of both specialties and will help them to interact with each other, so that e.g. NM physicians will learn how to solve clinical questions by reading images.
At the end, there will be an educational summary including state of the art knowledge of the use of PET in the subtypes of lymphoma.
The course will be followed by the 14th International Conference on Malignant Lymphoma (ICML) taking place from June 14-17, 2017 in the same venue.
