Mission
The Thyroid Committee is in charge of:
- Developing and disseminating guidelines and recommendations regarding:

- thyroid and parathyroid imaging,
- management and treatment of patients with benign and malignant thyroid conditions, with a focus also on specific clinical settings or specific comorbidities.
- Fostering scientific exchange and collaborative work with other EANM Committees and scientific societies, including scientific and educational sessions.
- Promoting ESMIT activities and online or face-to-face educational programmes on thyroid or parathyroid diseases (i.e., webinar, advanced courses).
- Providing information about the activities of the Thyroid Committee to physicians, scientists and patients.

The Executive Office is the referral centre to which questions and requests of any kind may be addressed. The Office answers these directly where applicable or passes them on to the relevant EANM officer.
